2026 Weekend Service Reductions

These service updates will become effective for OKC bus service on Sunday, June 28.

Service changes typically happen biannually and result from operator and customer feedback.

The objective of the 2026 Weekend Service Reductions is to align service levels with current budgetary constraints while minimizing impacts to customers. Proposed reductions are focused on days and time periods with the lowest utilization in order to preserve the greatest amount of service possible within available resources. These service updates will become effective for OKC bus service on Sunday, June 28.

Updates include:

  • There will be no service changes for EMBARK Norman, RAPID, or OKC Streetcar.

To share feedback on routes, schedules, and EMBARK services, submit ideas in writing any time at the Transit Center, through the Help Center, or during business hours by calling 405-235-RIDE (7433).
